Shopping Madness [Open]

The shopping district... It was one of the few places inside the city that she herself hadn't visited, but it was worth looking into. As she walked, the people there were in their own little world, just trying to shop for the latest clothing or toys. Actually, there was the prospect of the winter months and Christmas will soon be here. It was at this point that the girl was bored and tried not to have the urge to bring about chaos. Surely, her parents must be disappointed at how their daughter was not really behaving well at the slightest. It only proved that sometimes, not many of the children might not have an interest as she did.

Some of the people were a bit foreign and she assumed that they had come from different countries. Tan skin, pale skin, and some with dark skin had passed by her and she was curious about them. Not only did they somehow possess some kind of cultural knowledge that she would've understood, those people didn't really notice her at all. Interesting. Oh great, she was probably thinking like a mad scientist studying some form of strange wonders, but she rather liked it. As she sat down on a bench, she waited silently as she stared at the passing people, aware that someone might just randomly sit down beside her without her consent.

It was nearly Christmas and Daniel still didn't have presents for his family. He was the Ultimate Procrastinator, sure, but even he had to take shipping into account, so he went to the town of Hope's Peak Academy to buy presents.

He went through many shops and bought things like sweaters, souvenirs and coffee mugs. Though he was kind of tired, he pressed on. It wasn't until after he bought plenty of Hope's Peak souvenirs that he needed to take a break.

"Phew, so much stuff to carry. I still need to wrap all this up and send it back to Germany. What a pain. But regardless, it'd be bad if I didn't send them stuff..."

With that, he sat down on a bench, oblivious to the fact that a girl with bright pink hair was already sitting on it.

Aware that someone might sit next to her for all she cared, the girl tilted her head to an orange-haired boy with headphones. He had some bags with items in it...perhaps they might be presents. Presents for the family or simply the boy's friends...whatever the reason, this young man might be quite the specimen to talk to. With a small smile, she spoke out to the boy with orange hair. "Hello there. It's a great day to be out shopping, isn't it?" With those other people going from store to store due to frantically trying to buy some presents for their families, she might find it interesting to talk to someone who was buying those kinds of gifts. To her though, it was kind of a waste of money if the children had to get a lot of gifts for Christmas...if there was anything to go by.

Daniel was startled when he suddenly heard a girl's voice. He could have sworn that no one was sitting on the bench, but maybe his own mind was playing tricks on. He then placed the bag filled with the presents on the ground, careful that he didn't accidentally break something.

Once he did so, he replied to the girl. "Yes, it is. I just got done with my Christmas shopping and was on my way to send everything back home. I should probably hurry, so everything gets there on time. I mean, it'd be bad if the Christmas presents arrived after Christmas, right?"

He doubted that the girl cared. After all, the two were perfect strangers. The only thing they had in common was being a student of Hope's Peak Academy.

Regardless, he thought it was an appropiate time to introduce himself now.

"In any case, I'm Daniel Saotome. If you don't mind, would you tell me your name, please?"

He couldn't explain why, but he felt that he and the girl could get along.

"Nice to meet you, Daniel. I'm Amelia." She replied back with a smile. This male specimen was quite intriguing indeed and he was in a hurry to buy some of those presents for his family. Perhaps she might have to ask him if those presents were indeed going out to his family or friends. "It's nice that you're buying presents for your family and such. I'd probably try to buy some, but well...my family is so very far away." If she could, she could deliver the presents in a package to her country and the post office might receive it. Those other people that were shopping, however, needed to slow down as the others might've bumped into one another. Such chaotic ventures were the apple of her eye and she liked it well...too well.

Pretty soon, those parents would probably fight over one present that they needed to give to their daughter, but she doubted it. The security team would probably intervene and the riots wouldn't happen anytime soon.
