Personality: A quiet young man, he dislikes it when there are many people around, which is one thing that bothers him in his life at Hope's Peak. He is otherwise very friendly and likes to smile. Also, he can be very sarcastic if someone does something incredibly stupid in his presence.
He doesn't get angry easily, but when he does, he gets incredibly loud. Startling or scaring him is a surefire way to make him mad.
He is also smart, not genius-level intelligence, but smart. His defining trait, and the reason he got into Hope's Peak is his laziness. He does urgent work at the last possible moment and still passes, no matter what. If there is a way to make work easier or shorter, he can and will find it.

Background: The earliest years of his childhood and elementary school weren't that interesting, even though his school and his parents noticed that he never studied. That's because he always was too lazy to study. Amazingly enough, the later he finished any given work (such as homework that was being marked), the better he was. That continued throughout the years until he was of highschool age.
After procrastinating on a project that was supposed to take two months, he panicked when he looked at his calendar and found that he only had less than one week remaining.
He then began to work on that project like a maniac and finished it the morning before he went to school. His project got the best mark out of all of them, despite his classmates having genuinely good ones themselves.
The following week, a letter arrived that told him that he was eligible for the prestigious Hope's Peak Academy, as the "Super High School Level Procrastinator." Naturally, he grasped that opportunity.
