Personality: Yamato could be described as a very rough person who was raised in the streets. He has always let his fists talk first before trying to handle things with his own words. He's also very rude and up front with people. Why try to talk and sweeten words to some jackasses?
Of course, he's not a horrible person! Or well, yes he kinda is. To people he doesn't know, that is. To people he knows and has managed to let close to him, he's still very rough. But at the very least he'll be on their side, and will always try and defend them, be it with his fists or even his words.
He's surprisingly enough not that mushy or hurt inside either. He just happens to have been born rough, and that's what he is. The main thing that can get his blood boiling is people who suspect there is something causing him to be pissed off constantly.

Background: Yamato was born to a rather rich family consisting of his mother, his father, and his rich grandfather. Since birth Yamato had always wanted to keep to himself, leading to him constantly leaving home for days without coming home. Thankfully his grandfather was always there to calm his parents from sending out the police to try and find him. His grandfather was the one person Yamato had any personal connection to, and they bonded over time.
As time went on and Yamato grew older, he begun to do more and more dangerous things, such as drinking, smoking, and all around being a renegade. His parents tried to control him, but his grandfather was always there to reel them in from trying to stop Yamato being himself. He did always return home at some point in time, but he ended up always leaving a few days later.
Sadly his parents died in a car accident just before his sixteenth birthday, leading to him becoming the new heir to all the fortune his grandfather had collected. To guarantee that Yamato would succeed in life and gain a good future position in a business, his grandfather used some of his wealth to get Yamato into Hope's Peak Academy... What awaits this rebel inside the prestigious Academy?
